The beeb and TMZ are BOTH nominated in their respective categories! I think being online media students, it's our DUTY to vote :-)
Interestingly, the webby awards speeches are restricted to 5 words. Al Gore, when he won, said, "Please do not recount THIS vote!"

The hosts on the net@nite podcast were saying that they think the Webby's have gotten too corporate and that it's no longer about the little guy. I have no idea whether that's true, but I think it's funny how almost everything like this seems to follow that same story arc (at least in some people's perceptions).
